Omega Chiropractic started in 2013 when Dr Joyce Sutton-Davis (nee Onland) registered her business on her birthday- to start a new chapter of her life. She had just finished 9 years of tertiary study and had no idea where it was headed, but thought it would be exciting to see what opportunities would come her way.
In 2016 Dr Joyce married her best friend Ben Sutton-Davis and they started operating Omega Chiropractic out of the sleepout at their home. Dr Joyce only intended for Omega to be small and see a handful of family, friends and the public; but Omega grew a lot faster than she could have ever imagined!
After having her first child in 2019, it became obvious that Omega had far outgrown the small single room practice of the sleepout so Dr Joyce and Ben started to plan about expanding the clinic.
In 2020 application was put through to council to convert the new location- 30 Birmingham St, into a commercial clinic with 3 rooms and plenty of space.
The Covid lockdowns and building industry pressures meant that Omega Chiropractic didn't move into the new clinic until September 2021, but it was well worth the wait!
We love our clinic space where there is room for families, kids, animals, lots of parking and funky rooms to work out of.
Along the way two other chiropractors have joined Dr Joyce in practice and it has been so exciting to see the team grow and take care of people in the Manawatu and beyond!
